Inspired by some of my favorite podcasts, I have invited some of my favorite people in my network to serve on the “Office Hours Think Tank”. Members of the Think Tank will appear every five weeks on “Office Hours with Dr. De Veau” where they will discuss some of the top current events of the day. Our first Think Tank members to appear this past week were Cory Davis from Champlain College (VT) and Dr. Kenn Schneck from Baldwin Wallace University (OH).
Future episodes will Feature Dr. Jason Pina (New York University), Dr. Jeanna Mastrodicassa (University of Florida), Dr. Bill Boozang (Emmanuel College, MA), Shelia Higgs Burkhalter (Winthrop University, SC), Gage Paine (Gage Paine Consulting, TX), Patrick Romero Aldaz (Regis University, CO), Dr. Julie Payne-Kirchmeier (Northwestern University, IL), and Todd Porter (Julliard, NY). The members of the Think Tank have been selected because of a variety of reasons, but the most common is they have a gift for gab and authenticity.

For students seeking a degree life can get in the way, resulting in their taking a step out temporarily from their educational pursuits. Flexibility of online education has shown to be a benefit, but it isn’t a magic pill.
