Guest Bio: Patrick I. Romero-Aldaz, MA.Ed., Associate Vice President of Student Affairs & Dean of Students, Regis University
Patrick currently serves as the AVP/Dean of Students at Regis University, in Denver, CO where he has been since June of 2018. Prior to his current role, Patrick was the Dean of Student Engagement & Leadership at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. He holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from Virginia Tech University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Mexico. A dedicated higher education professional, Patrick has committed his career to advancing student access, engagement, leadership, and tradition. Central to his work is a strong ethic of care and commitment for equity, diversity, and inclusion. As a first-generation college student, he recognizes the gift that is higher education and works to ensure that the students he works with can benefit from it to advance their goal and dream. A native of Colorado, Patrick lives in Denver with his partner Sam and enjoys spending free time traveling, and enjoying the culinary arts.
