A survey built for a [potentially] dreary February day
It’s February 1st and that means HigherEd pros, professors, practitioners and pioneers all have had a chance to make a ‘go of it’ in the second semester. We all had big plans, how we were going to attack the in-box, make a real dent in that latest draft, block off time for your budget requests. Have you made headway or is your procrastination button fully activated?
Subscribers - all subscribers, I want to know where you are at, because that will help with what I serve up for you in the coming months. Take 5 minutes of time to complete this completely unscientific, but meaningful poll and that will help me see where you are at. And were we are going as a “What’s Up in the Academy?” community.
There are a lot of distractions out there right now. Let me know what is pulling your heart and mind in different directions.
The news cycle continuously hits us, some the news hurts our ability to accomplish our work, and some of it is - frankly - a targeted distraction.
There is a feeling that life on campus has changed, possibly fallen apart. Has it? Or has your campus changed for the better?
