Summer time is a different view point on the world. As such, we will be using Monday’s to ReStack some of my most popular Substack Newsletters. Originally published on January 4, 2024, this edition focused on the December 5, 2023 Congressional Testimony of Dr. Claudine Gay, Dr. Elizabeth Magill, former presidents of Harvard and University of Pennsylvania respectively and Dr. Sally A. Kornbluth, president at MIT. I am interested in your thoughts on where things have progressed since this post. What have we learned? How are we continuing to lose our footing? How are you doing business differently? What has the spring semester done to how you approach your practice?

This is one of the guys who brought down the President of Harvard. And he’s coming for you. 

By now you are undoubtedly aware that after a long stretch of spiraling controversy, Dr. Gay stepped down from the Presidency of Harvard University. Dr. Gay’s appearance in front of a House of Representatives subcommittee was largely panned for being tone deaf got the headlines, but what you may be unaware of is that beginning soon after Dr. Gay’s appointment was announced, accusations of Dr. Gay being a ‘diversity hire’ and race bating charges plagiarism soon surfaced. Mr. Brunet, a former writer for The Daily Caller and current Contributing Editor for American Conservative has been one of Dr. Gay’s critics on the right.
