By now you are undoubtedly aware that after a long stretch of spiraling controversy, Dr. Gay stepped down from the Presidency of Harvard University. Dr. Gay’s appearance in front of a House of Representatives subcommittee was largely panned for being tone deaf got the headlines, but what you may be unaware of is that beginning soon after Dr. Gay’s appointment was announced, accusations of Dr. Gay being a ‘diversity hire’ and race bating charges plagiarism soon surfaced. Mr. Brunet, a former writer for The Daily Caller and current Contributing Editor for American Conservative has been one of Dr. Gay’s critics on the right.
