In my 13 years at Boston University there were offices that were ‘uniquely BU’. Places that by virtue of a simple mention evoked a certain positive response, rather than an eye roll or worse, the muttering of, “is there anything I can do other than go to that office?” One of these most positive places was the Boston University Photo Services Office. I had first come to interact with the office in my role in the BU Athletic Department. Photo Services was the office that took headshots of players and coaches for game programs and media guides. The office deployed multiple photographers to sites around campus to chronicle the day to day of University life as well as special events and moments. The staff of photographers and managers were tight knit, talented and joyful.
