According to a study from Penn State University, over half of the people who have contracted COVID 19 will suffer from Long Covid - symptoms include fatigue, neurological issues, lung abnormalities and what some are calling “foggy Covid brain.” Recently, a workbook of recommendations for serving these students has been published. The workbook aims to provide guidance to Disability services and health professionals on serving this population. On the last episode of “Office Hours with Dr. De Veau”, I as joined by Beth Grampetro an expert in college health and wellness services as well as Dr. Lorre Wolfe, Director of Disability Services at Boston University where we discussed these recommendations, our current reality and what is to come.
