In the academy (and beyond), we often find ourselves caught between two competing desires: the urge to learn and grow through open dialogue, and the fear of saying something "inartful" that could be misconstrued or labeled as offensive. This tension has become particularly acute in recent years, as social media amplifies missteps and call-out culture can swiftly punish perceived transgressions.
