Well it was destined to happen, the teacher becomes the student. Or, more accurately, it is time for me to stop teaching parents of college students how they can effectively parent through the college years, and start doing it myself.
This week the rubber hits the road and I am moving my daughter onto campus. And I need a minute to focus on her, me, my husband and my daughter’s cat. My daughter is having all the feels, which is normal. My husband has zero “F” on the Myers-Briggs, so this will be interesting. But the cat? The cat is bullshit. I’m just hoping I am not assaulted in my sleep.
As for a more meaty post, stay-tuned, next week, I will be back to the summer schedule of a long-form Friday post and then the academic year begins the week of September 1 and with that we return to our regular multi-content schedule.
Oh and me? How am I doing? Well, that’s complicated. See you on the other side of check-in.
Literally right there with you!
