Higher Ed needs to prepare for Trump 2.0
We already have the playbook and we have seen his moves
On January 27, 2017, when President Trump signed Executive Order 13769, it was as if a bomb went off on my little campus, with people rushing in and out of offices, panicking about the students this was impacting. In the days, weeks, years to come colleges and universities in the United States were subjected to similar events caused by EOs or acts of the Betsy DeVos led Department of Education. We’ve lived through this administration’s hate and incompetence before, and now we are being forced to live through a sequel.
