As discussed in the show, during the month of March Office Hours will be featuring three shows on the topic of Veterans on campus. On March 10 we will be focused on what makes a campus Veteran ready, and what are the challenges and benefits of doing it right. On March 24 we will consider the true implementation of Mental Health and Disability Services for Veterans and how to move beyond the PTS tropes. And our final show on March 31 will focus on why hiring veterans makes sense, and what that means for campus employment, career services and internship experience. My co-host will be Dr. David Vacchi from the Naval War College in Newport, RI. David has literally written the book on Veteran student affairs.
