Musings on Educational Priorities

I have gotten to know a great deal of ‘characters’ in my lifetime. Some were funny, others were incredibly intelligent, there were those who were wonderfully talented, and then there were those who were incredibly kind. ‘Characters’ are largely memorable because they bring flavor to life. Being a ‘Character’ is very different from having character. I would say that the ‘Characters’ in my life, have, indeed, possessed great character. They are and were good people. They may march to their own drummer, but it’s a good beat, a metronome that moves to positive outcomes.
