Every Sunday my iPhone drops a truth bomb delivered as my weekly screen time usage. The last few weeks have not been good - the distractions are plentiful. There is no other way to say it - there is a lot of shit going on, and for the most part I have no control over any of it. 

• There is a war that is ripping apart a region of the world and my neighbors from one another. 

• The legislative branch of Congress is more dysfunctional than a college student government. 

• Communities in my state, including my own city, are angry over rezoning putting firewalls up in the face of building when there is a crisis of homelessness.
