Today is my 55th birthday. 55 years ago today I was born on the day of my father’s last final exam which he was sitting for at Boston University Law School. My birth caused my father to miss most of his Law School Graduation - which he never seemed to mind. However, on reflection, the timing of my birthday and my career in higher education has resulted in me missing most of my birthday celebrations due to graduations. Turnabout is fair play - I guess.
